Kenmore Square & The Fenway 

     Kenmore Square and The Fenway area are amongst the most popular in Boston. Known for it’s great nightlife, the world famous Boston Red Sox, and historic Fenway Park, with the Citgo Sign beaming throughout the city. Several important Boston streets run through Kenmore, most notably Beacon Street, Commonwealth Avenue, and Landsdowne Street. Reachable by subway off of the Green line at the Kenmore Square station. From spring to early fall, you can hear the roar of crazy Red Sox fans cheering on the Local 9 echoing throughout the area. During the school year, with Boston University nearby, the area has an electric nightlife that anyone can enjoy. With so many exciting places, you surely will need to visit Kenmore Square.Outside of Fenway Park, you’ll find some of the most popular taverns and nightclubs the city has to offer. If your don’t make it into Fenway for the game, hit the Clask ‘N Flagon next to the park for the closest experience you can get to the real thing. Jillions is a terrific club with four floors of different styles of entertainment. Take a walk down “The Alley” to find a bunch of great bars and nightclubs, and if you really want dress to impress, check out The Roxy.

      If you’re a sports fan or an historian, you HAVE to make it to Fenway Park and tour historic Fenway Park and tour the legendary Green Monster, and if your lucky enough to get tickets, take in a game. You can even enjoy yourself in Kenmore Square during a Red Sox game simply walking around and watching the crowds of people, the aroma of grilled sausage fills the air. Plenty of clubs and bars around for you to watch the game with a group of friends. The world has sure been different around here since the Red Sox won the 2004 World Series!!

      Easily one of the most entertaining squares in Boston, Kenmore can be enjoyed anytime of year. Whether your preference is a rowdy Red Sox game day visit, or a weekend out on the town, you can find it here. The train station drops you directly into Kenmore, so it is simple to find your way around. Usually filled with people, you can ask for directions to anywhere and learn you’re close by. Just don’t be wearing a Yankees hat.
